Moments later, a torrential downpour forced me to layer up in heavy jacket gear.

Just five minutes later, the downpour stopped, the thick mist dispersed, and bright mountain sunshine lit up the peaks. Unpredictable weather often yields the most dramatic photos. Thanks to our perfect timing, I captured atmospheric shots of rolling mountain fog surrounding the couple right before the skies cleared for the proposal moment.

Bachalpsee Lake is one of the most famous locations in the Jungfrau region, but avoiding crowds is key to an intimate moment. I selected a secluded vantage point away from the main hiking trail, allowing Nir and Gavan to share their special moment in total privacy. Witnessing authentic emotion and nervous excitement never fails to inspire me, and my goal is always to document every subtle glance and unscripted tear.

After Gavan said a joyful “Yes!”, we proceeded with a relaxed portrait photoshoot across the alpine landscape, capturing candid moments and raw emotions amidst the sweeping mountain views.
